History

Faith Christian School began as a preschool in 1978 (Follow the Leader Christian Preschool). Shortly thereafter the need for a Christian school became apparent to the leadership of Calvary Chapel Baptist Church. In 1982, Faith Christian School began its first year with grades K-8.

The school is a ministry of and located within Calvary Chapel Baptist Church and is operated by a committee of church members, chosen by the deacons and pastor of Calvary Chapel Baptist Church. The board oversees and regulates all aspects of the school. In addition, Faith Christian School is an active member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
